Finally Friday and Humans are NUTS!

Humans are NUTS! Mom got up this morning and said she was feeling a bit stiff (what else is new, Mom, it's called getting OLD, been there, done that!)

So, she started walking up the stairs. Ok, normally she goes up, and then she does stuff up there and comes back down. So, I thought I should follow just to see what she was doing and make sure she did it right. But, she went up, then came right back down, then went up again, then came right back down! I thought that maybe she'd lost her mind! But, she said it was eksersise (whatever that is). She told me that since the weather's been not so good outside, she couldn't do eksersise stuff outside. She told me to stay downstairs, but I just had to keep following just in case I missed something.

I had to stop and take a breath. She was going too fast for me to keep up. I lost count after 10 since I can only count that high. She told me again to stay downstairs, but I just couldn't. I just had to see what she was doing!

I decided Mom is nuts. This is just too much work. I can hardly make it to the top, where's my water dish? I think I need a drink!

Mom: Rusty always has to follow me. Once when I got on the treadmill he did too. It was so funny when he fell off the back.

Rusty: Oh yeah, Mom, just yuk it up over me. See if I care.

Haha! Rusty, we think you should go onto your porch and take a nap...that's a better way to spend the day...leave that crazy eksersising stuff to the humans...

Don't people know when they say to not follow we HAVE to?

You were brave for getting on the treadmill. I'm pretty sure those things bite.

We pretty much have to follow the humans, who else would protect them from all the bad things in the house, like stairs and flying buggies? *Sheesh* They should get that, and not do things that make us follow them up and down and back and forth. Silly beans.

Purrs and hugs,

Some of my kitties are like that too - they always have to know what is going on and follow me. I can understand what your mom is doing though - I have done things like that for exercise too (not that you would know by looking at me!)

Have a wonderful, nutty, weekend!

We think humans are nuts too. It's a good job they have us here to keep them on track!

Yup, that definitely sounds nuts to us. We would sit at the bottom of the stairs and watch

The thought of you two going up and down the stairs is just too funny. We hope you got a good nap is afterwards, Rusty. That must have been so exhausting!
