Easy Like Sunday

Ahhhh, relaxing on my Boogie Mat, I've got my 'nip nanner here and I'm all set. Maybe I can figure out that flying thing and go visit my three cousins, The Island Cats. If that doesn't work, I'll just have a nice nap.

It's been a nice weekend having Mom all to myself. Yesterday we made some mint ice cubes and some Rosemary ones. They worked out good. Mom's going to do some more later today if it's not too hot. She's talking about putting on the cool blower since it looks like the hots are back for a couple days. She didn't turn it on yesterday because it stayed pretty cool in the house, even though it was hot outside.

But, it hasn't been all fun and games this weekend. Mom decided I really needed some grooming real bad and so she tempted me out on the porch with some Greenies and man, she combed and combed. Look what she got off me!

And, we're still not done yet. That was only half of one side! I don't like to be combed and groomed, even with Greenies. I heard her thinking about getting something called a Furminator. Wonder what that is, wonder if it's better than her grooming comb? Mom tries to be gentle, but it pulls when she combs me. I hate that!

Our bean has a Furminator and I love it very much, as does my sister Zowie. (Pandora doesn't like it.) It's really good because it gets a lot of hair without having to brush a lot. I think you will like it Rusty :)

Thanks, Percy. I'll tell Mom. I noticed she can't type today, she spelled my name "Ristu" on the Blogosphere. Sheesh, guess I should take over.

We like to be combed. WE dont have a furminator so mom uses a fine tooth comb. just like she uses fro her self. She calls it a rat tailed comb. I don't get it. Enjoy your nap!

Yeah, Rusty...we thought there was a new cat in the blogosphere named Ristu! Haha! If you can't get your boogie mat to work, maybe we'll fly to see you! But it is pretty hot today and maybe we'll just stay inside with the cold air blower...

We got a furminator...we don't like it much even though mom sez it works really good...you can have ours!

We love the furminator, it doesn't pull our furrs at all. We hope you like it too -- cuz we agrees with you if it pulls our furr we wouldn't like to be groomed by Mom either.

We have a FURminator and it doesn't seem to pull at all. Samson LOVES it but Deli will not put up with any kind of grooming at all.

All that fur your Mom took off looks like a baby Rusty!

We hope you stay cool today. You look very comfy on your Boogie Mat with your nip naner!

Thanks for dropping by for Deli's Gotcha day!

Hello sweetie. We are pleased to meet you. We had a furminator and it did not work in the least on us. Be sure, if you have to buy one, you get it at Petsmart. They'll let you send/bring it back if you try it and don't like it.
P.S. Mum is crazy for senior cats.

Melvin adores his Furminator.
But like Kari said, get it at Petsmart in case you don't like it.

Wow, that's enough for a mini-Rusty! We're all short-haired cats mostly, so we don't have to be groomed/combed all that much. Yay!

We're glad you're enjoying your lazy weekend with your mom!

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

Eric: We have a furminator and we both love it. Mum gets lots of fur out of me every time and I hardly ever get hairballs now. Flynn didn't used to like being groomed, but even he loves it.

We have a love/hate relationship with the furminator in our house - some love it and some hate it. But the haters aren't fond of any combing so that makes sense. It is very popular for biting with everyone. It does a very good job though - but I agree to get it at petsmart in case.
