I'm Rusty and I'm new to blogging. My mom spends so much time sitting at the computer these days, that I thought maybe I should get involved too. Now, I can sit in her lap and do my stuff too.
I've been around a really long time for a cat, I came here in 1991 from the local Humane Society. Mom's surprised I lasted this long. I was a wild boy in my youth, let me tell you. I live in a small rural town, population is only about 1,058 people and this town was MINE! Let me tell you. All mine. I live a short distance from a river where the summer days were cool and the hunting was GREAT!
These days, though. I'll admit, I've slowed down a lot. The arther-itis gives me a bit of trouble and I get tired. But, boy oh boy, what a ride it's been!
Well, I'm tired now, have to take my nap but I'll write more later and have some pictures to share.

Hi, Rusty. Firestar here. Been out doing morning rounds with Bevie and found two new blogs: Sherkhan's and yours.
Looks like we arrived in time for your very first post. Cool! I've only been blogging for about a month myself. But I'm just three this year.
Got you about the nap thing. Find a sunny place.
welcome to da blogosphere!
Hi Rusty! We are so glad to meet you! We know your cousins, Wally, Ernie and Zoey, and they told us about you. You will just love having your own blog. You just have to make sure your Momma has her priorities set straight and shares the computer time with you. So, welcome to the wonderful world of cat blogging and hope to see lots of blogs coming from you.

It's great to meet you. We are impressed wiv your great age and are sure there will be things you can teach us what wiv all that wisdom and sperience. Alfie is only 4 months old and I'm 9 months old - so we're just wippersnappers by comparison to you.

Hello Rusty, welcome to the blogosphere. I'm a senior kitty (age 17 - 18) and I live with a little grey furball who is about four (but acts like a kitten with ADD and OCD).
We'd love it if you would come by and visit.
Purrs,

Welcome Rusty! We are glad to meet you. Can't wait to see photos of you 'cause you look like a bigger version of Teak, our little brother who also was a feral. We will keep a watchful eye out for your posts=^Y^=the Cat Street Boyz
Happy to meet you, Rusty! We heard about you from the Island Cats. Big purrs to you!
Hi Rusty! We know Wally, Ernie & Zoey and we are very pleased to meet you! We bet you have a lot of adventures to tell us about! I am Tigger 7 years and Samantha is 5 Years old!! Have a nice day!
Your FL furiends,
Wow! You have been around a long time. Our Jenny only made it to 17. We wish she was still here, so we know your mom is happy with every day she has with you.
Welcome to blogging.
Another cute cat blog! What am I to do - I hardly have time to pet and feed cats, work AND read all the fun cat blogs.
And look at all the cat avatars!
Very thoughtful of your mum to help you with your own blog.
My cats, Bessie, Bruiser, Tara, Amelia and Scarlett (the avatar) don't have their own blog - please don't give them any ideas. Bessie would have to have her own blog, that she'd guard, and probably would hiss up a storm if other cats visited - so that wouldn't work out too well. (She's not very friendly to other cats. There is a photo of Bessie on my blog.
Well hi, Rusty. Welcome to our cat blogging community. We're glad you still feel up to blogging, I mean being an old geezer cat and all.
George
