In the morning, before it gets real hot, Mom lets me go outside for awhile. Sometimes I just like to lie on the deck and look around at things. .JPG)
When I feel up to it, I head down the stairs to get a closer look at stuff. Sometimes I go under the steps and head to my favorite napping place behind the big green bush. You can see when I have a good pathway between the first and second steps..JPG)
But, some days, I just like to wander around a bit and see what I can see. I enjoy these outside times and I hate when Mom makes me stay inside when she says it's too hot..JPG)

You do have to listen to your mom, though. It *can* get too hot for kitties to be out safely. Never mind, cooler weather will be here before you know it and then hopefully you'll get more fresh air time. :-)
Hi Rusty - you are looking handsome today! You are very lucky your mom lets you go out when it is cooler - we are only indoor cats. And trust us, it is good to be inside when it gets too hot - too hot is not fun (from what our mom tells us at least!) Plus always remember - inside is where the foods are!!
Rusty, we're glad you get to enjoy some outside time before it gets too hot. We bet it's a lot cooler under that bush too!

I wanted to go outside today but my Mom wouldn't let me because it's over 100 degrees here. Also- the mosquito truck drove by and sprayed a cloud of poison in our yard. Rats! ~Crikey
