Mom enticed me to come out on the deck with her. Little did I know, she had that furminator thing in her hand.
I don't care if it smells like me and Mom, this is not my idea of a way to spend my Easy Sunday. No way. Uh uh. 
So, I just ran off the deck down into the nice green grass and turned my back on Mom. That way, maybe she'll just take that furminator thing and go away. Yep, this is much easier. Easy Like Sunday, lying in the cool green grass, ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh I just love the furminator. It gets to all the itches I can't reach, and I hardly ever get hairballs now. If I see mum pick it up, I jump up on the cat tree and wait for her to get started. It's pure bliss.

Oh, I don't like that Furminator thing, either! Victor adores it, but as soon as I see it getting close, I whap it. Not hard, just enough to tell Mom how much I don't want it! Good for you, avoiding it!

I learned a good trick to deal with the Furminator! I try to bite the comb! Now mum gets too scared to use it on me, for fear I'll break a tooth or cut my mouth. You are very welcome to try it:)

Our kitties are split on the Furminator. Sammy gives it a "thumbs up," but Moosey agrees with you ... he'd be happy if he never saw the Furminator (or any brush, for that matter) again!
You should be careful turning your back - when my kitties do that it is easier to furminate them!
