I am so embarrassed! I mean really, here's my Mom on Mancat Monday posting that I was constipated! I mean, how mancatly is being constipated? Us Mancats are supposed to be cool and tough not constipated! It's gonna take me awhile to get over this embarrassment. Those Moms, they just don't have any clue on how to act sometimes!
I really didn't like being in the hospital, but I tried to be good because my Mom told me I should be. I also am a pretty smart guy and I just know that if you don't do what they want, they'll make you stay even LONGER and I sure wanted to go home. I didn't want to stay in that place any longer than I had too!
But, I must admit, this is the relief I felt after it was all over. I have to tell you younger Mancat guys, getting old is the PITS! Sometimes it ain't fun at all!

Poor Rusty . . . sometimes mommies just have NO TACT.
Hang in there, buddy.
::sigh:: I know just how you feel. Last year mum put it up in big headlines when I pooped.
Eric
We're so happy you're home, Rusty! Moms sometimes just don't know when to leave certain details out but you know she loves you like crazy, right?
We feel for you, Rusty! Moms can be so tactless sometimes....
But we're glad you're home and doing okay...just keep eating that petromalt so you don't wind up in the hospital again!
Don't feel embarrassed Rusty! It happens to everycat at some point and it's nothing to be embarrassed about. We sure are glad you are home and feeling better!
Don't be embarrassed, Rusty...we're just glad that you are feeling better!
Life happens, ans it is not always pretty or fun. WE are glad you are home and feeling better!
Oh, Rusty, we feel for you. Humans just don't understand and they like to embarrass us. Don't pay her any mind. your friends understand, they have a mom too.
Awwww Rusty, we feel for yoo we really do! Beans can be such an embarrasment at times.
But the main thing is you're betterer, and home ~ 'cos we missed yoo.
Rusty, you should not be embarrassed. Pooper problems happen to us all! I'm glad you are back home and feeling better.
Sweet Rusty, do not be embarrassed! We are just sooooo very happy that you are at home and feeling much better! *purrs*
I have learned that there are no secrets between kitty moms.
Rusty, it's ok buddy. Our Grampa norton was constipated for the last 8 years of his life, and HE was very mancatly - HE was the alpha cat in our house - even when he was 18!
Rusty, we are very happy that you are feeling better now. Going to the V*E*T is no fun. But the idea about giving you squash that your mom mentioned is a good one. Our mom has had kitties who have eaten squash for their poop problems and it works pretty well. One of those kitties came to love squash so much, he had to have his own little dish of it whenever she cooked it! Ask your mom to try giving you squash or pumpkin, either fresh cooked or canned, and you may like, too.
I know just how you feel Rusty! Moms are funny!
Somewhere in my blog is mention of Sandusky having the same problem!
I'm glad you're feeling better Rusty! Sorry that your mum embarrassed you so much! (Sometimes Pandora thinks the same way when mum posts about her tummy troubles.)
Yes, sometimes humans don't know the meaning of TMI...but we here are glad you are unconstipated now. Benefiber is good, as is the pumpkin and squash. Many older kitties at the cat hospital are on Kristalose and it's nice as it's a powder too, instead of the syrupy Lactulose-ick.
Any of the things like laxatone or petromalt are just lubricants and will not make hard poo much softer, just slipperier...I'm just sayin'
Oh Rusty! All that matters is that you're feeling better! The humans can't be helped!!
Sweeite, getting old, no matter what life form you happen to be IS THE PITS.
Rusty there is nothing to be embarassed about - we all know what it is like to have problems. We are just glad that you are feeling a lot better!
