Easy Sunday

I looked out the deck door window today and guess what I saw? It was raining! It's January and it was raining! The snow is nearly gone and it really looks more like spring than it does winter.

I went out for a few minutes on the deck, but it was so wet, I decided the best thing to do was just to spend today relaxing in my bed (which Mom gave back to me) and thinking. I do a lot of relaxing and thinking these days. I'm turning into a real cerebral sort of guy.

Hi, this is Rusty's Mom. Just a quick note. He's still wheezing on occasion, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He doesn't look like it's causing him any difficulties, he goes about life just as always, wheezing or not. So, I'm going to just keep an eye on him and try not to be too concerned. I think it's mostly emotional, he seems to start when he gets happy, excited or stressed. But, other than that, I can see no real triggers such as allergy, etc. For the most part, he appears to be doing fine and for that I am glad. Thanks again, everyone for all your well wishes and purrs. I know that Rusty and I greatly appreciate it.

We don't go outside, so we don't know about wet paws...unless you count when Tamir puts his in our water bowl.

We're glad you're doing better.

Get better Rusty! We are all purring hard.
And it has been a super odd winter this year, hasn't it? I mean... Snow in Florida? No snow in Oregon? It's all backwards!

It feels like Spring here too, but we think that it is just a trick and we'll have a few storms soon!

We're happy you're feeling better, Rusty!

Well, it's actually nice that the rain has taken all the snow away. No shovelling required!

And you have your bed back, so no worries, Rusty!

I'm so happy that Rusty isn't really having a problem that interferes with his daily life. It's likely just part of aging. He sure is looking good, and all is well.

Glad to hear that Rusty's blood work was good. Rusty, you sure look great for an old man. And sure am glad you got your old bed back. Your Mom is a wonderful Lady to take as good care of you that she does.

Hi Rusty, it is summer here in New Zealand, and we haven't had a fine weekend since November, just rainy cloudy ones. We are glad your snow is retreating and things are milder for you.

Good to hear that your breathing has settled down too.

That bed looks like the best spot to be on a rainy Sunday!

Glad to hear you are doing well Rusty. We get shut in when it rains, otherwise we sit in the middle of the lawn and come in soaking wet.

We got rain on Sunday too and were very surprised by it!

We are glad you are doing well - we wish the wheezing would stop but as long as it isn't bothering you that is good. We are still purring that you stay that way though - good, that is, not wheezy!

I am praying that his wheezing does not go into anything worse. He is such a sweetheart.
