Finally Friday!

Oh, man! Guess what showed up at MY house at 7:00 this morning! A giant driving machine! Mom called it a cement truck. She said it was going to pour my new sidewalk. It scared me, it was just too loud and I wouldn't even sit in the window to watch it. Mom took this picture through the new porch door and the glass looks a little foggy.

But, now they're done and it's quiet again. Look at my new sidewalk! The builder guy told Mom that they'll come back tomorrow and finish it after it cures.

But, Mom says I can't go outside today (Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?) She's afraid I'll try to walk on the new sidewalk and maybe leave my paw prints in it. (Now, that I think of it, that might not be such a bad idea. I'd be remembered FOREVER!)

But anyhow, I guess I'll just spend the first glorious day we've had after all that rain sacked out inside. Maybe Mom will let me go out if she can watch me and make sure I stay off the new sidewalk.

You don't need a paw print in cement to be remembered, Rusty. You're memorable without it!

Rusty, I think it would be cool to leave a pawprint in that cement, but I bet it would mean a good bath afterwards. But you don't need that to be remembered, people never forget the kitties they love!

Rusty, we think you ought to have your pawprints in the cement! But we bet the guy with the beard won't think that's a good idea...

I'd be all over that cement...and then I'd have to have a bath and, well, that would be awful.
Stay inside Rusty, it's probably better that way!

When our pawrents poured a new side patio in the other house all our past fur family put a paw in it and Mommy put their names beside it. They made the house a HOME! We hope you put your paw in the cement Rusty=^Y^=the Cat Street Boyz

Dood. You should totally find a way to get outside and leave a paw print! You'd be remembered for DECADES!

We think you should be allowed at least one paw print. Dad has laid lots of cement around the farm and in the barn and stables, and he said he's never yet managed to get any done without one of the cats who came before walking through it.

I say go outside before the cement dries. There are puddy and puppy prints over at my Grammy and Grumpy's sidewalk....along with hooman grandkids' footie prints. It's the coolest thing ever.

We think you should leave one print in the cement - so they can always think of you. Hope you get to go out soon!
