Rainy Caturday

It's raining today. I really don't want to go out on the deck in the wet rain. I think I'll stay inside today. Mom says, at least it's not that white stuff anymore, she says that she can deal with rain. Well, I can't. I want sunshine and warm breezes! In the wintertime, my humans use the porch for storage of the summer stuff like the patio furniture. I like that because it gives me somewhere real nice to sit when I'm on the porch.

Hi Rusty! That just what it looks like here in ChiTown too. Good day for napping! We wish we had a beautiful porch like you do.

Hi Rusty... we are pleased to meet you (we used to be Michiganders...)
and that rainy-day-windy-brr-cold
is very familiar. So, you're smart to stay inside!

It had poured down for two days in a row here, but today was a lovely day with sunshine. That porch really gives you a pawsome surveillance opportunity!

We've got lots of windows to look out of too! Your rain is heading our way, so we'll be in the same boat later (we hope that boat isn't the Ark).

I think you are very wise to stay out of the rain. It must be a mancat thing. My crazy sister Suey gets 'cabin fever' if she is inside too long. When we had a month of rain, mum would let her out briefly when she would run several laps of the garden, getting soaked, then come back inside. I thought she was nuts, but it made her calmer when she was in.

We are so sorry it rains! Whenever you feel like you need a little sunshine you may come over to our place - we live in the desert in Tucson and have sunshine 350 days a year! It does get hot though in the summer....

Hi Rusty,

Thank you for vsiting our bloggie. You are right your beloved Grady does look like little Alfie - I bet when Grady was a kitten he looked just like Alfie does now. We are sending purrs 'cos you must be missing Grady.
The porch sounds great.
