Poco - The First Cat

A lot of comments were made about Grady and his gravesite. This is about the first cat who lived here. His name was Poco and Mom says he was a lot like me, except that he didn't talk quite so much.

This is a picture of Poco taken when Mom and dad the guy with gray hair and a beard (oops! I called him dad and he doesn't like to be called dad) first moved here in 1978. He was about 2 years old then.

This is Poco's gravesite. He's also buried in the garden, but he's under the lilac tree. He used to like to snooze there on warm summer days wrapped among the lilies of the valley. He went to the Rainbow Bridge a few months before Mom brought me home here.

That is nice that Poco rests under his favourite tree forever. Mum has buried all her Before Us cats side by side in a corner of the garden and planted a rose over each one.
